Engineering, Procurement and Construction — a delivery model where one contractor takes single-point responsibility for designing, procuring and building a project to a fixed scope, cost and schedule.
Effluent Treatment Plant / Zero Liquid Discharge — industrial wastewater treatment; ZLD recovers nearly all water and leaves only solid residue, discharging no liquid effluent.

Sewage Treatment Plant — a facility that treats domestic/municipal wastewater to discharge or reuse standards using biological processes such as SBR, MBBR or ASP.
Water Treatment Plant — a facility that treats raw water to potable standards through clarification, filtration and disinfection.
