EPC
Engineering, Procurement and Construction — a delivery model where one contractor takes single-point responsibility for designing, procuring and building a project to a fixed scope, cost and schedule.
ETP / ZLD
Effluent Treatment Plant / Zero Liquid Discharge — industrial wastewater treatment; ZLD recovers nearly all water and leaves only solid residue, discharging no liquid effluent.
IS 3370
The Indian Standard for the design of liquid-retaining concrete structures — governs crack-width and leak-tightness for water and wastewater tanks.
LSTK
Lump-Sum Turnkey — a fixed-price contract where the contractor delivers a fully commissioned facility, handing over a ready-to-operate asset.
PEB
Pre-Engineered Building — a steel building system engineered and fabricated off-site for rapid erection, common for industrial sheds and warehouses.
STP
Sewage Treatment Plant — a facility that treats domestic/municipal wastewater to discharge or reuse standards using biological processes such as SBR, MBBR or ASP.
WTP
Water Treatment Plant — a facility that treats raw water to potable standards through clarification, filtration and disinfection.
